Schweizer Aircraft Corporation was the oldest operating aircraft manufacturer in the world at the time of its sale to Sikorski just a few years ago. From their plant and field in Elmira New York came the longest line of production gliders ever produced, successfully winning hundreds of records and awards of the course of the family's 70-year history. 



These faithfully scaled hand chuck gliders, produced at 1/32nd scale will provide hours of fun of children of every age. Each of the featured models from Schweizers storied history is both quick and easy to assemble. You get 5 models in a kit including the 1-23, 1-26b, 1-26e, 1-34 and the 2-12. Kits feature laser cut parts etched with panel, flying surface and canopy details; lightweight contest grade balsa wings and tails;  easy to follow instructions for assembly, finishing, balancing and flying; brief history, 3 view and performance specifications for the full size aircraft all for $19.95. You'll need to provide glue, sandpaper and weight (modeling clay, coins, lead, etc.) for balancing the aircraft.
